This is a great talking scale. I am visually impaired and have no usable vision so cannot read the screen on any scale. This talking scale makes it possible for me to check my weight.
I also use it to measure the weight of heavier packages by first weighing myself and then weighing myself holding the package and subtracting my weight from the total weight of me and the package so I can ship things with accurate weights on them.
it does announce the weight twice, which I don’t think is necessary, but it might be a useful feature for someone who did not hear the wait the first time. It is not terribly loud, but it is not quiet either.
I thought it was going to be too loud based on the reviews, but the volume is perfect. There is no way to change the volume though.
It weighs in both pounds and kilograms, and you can use the switch on the back to switch between the two. it is easy to use. You just step onto it and then step off, and it will announce your weight twice.
